Twelfth-grade student athletes from Asheboro City Schools and the Randolph County School System were honored as "Unsung Heroes" at Randolph Sports Council Fall Banquet at Snyder Farms Restaurant.
Guest speaker was Matt Ridge, Director of Athletics and head men's basketball coach at Davidson-Davie Community College.
